you may have heard of them ... they are often called the Illuminati. Or perhaps the New World Order (nwo).
The shadowy hand that manipulates decisions, and pushes an agenda.
the world under global control, constant surveillance.
so what is to be done? nothing. Their plans will come to nothing. There are forces in play that are antithetical to their plans; they try to concentrate power, when the whole trend is towards distributing it; when they seek to consolidate; it is the individual, in these times, that is becoming empowered.
Their networks are top down (media, tv, health care, politics) whereas true strength comes from individual citizens banding together by choice. They try to force an agenda; but we can just say no in our minds, and negate it instantly.
this group (the illuminati, or nwo) has been at this game for centuries. It's most modern form came into being during the 'Enlightenment' era of the 18th Century; when the notion of 'social engineering' suddenly became popular. It has continued on in the modern form as 'socialism'; many aspects of which are present in the 'welfare-state' today.
Bush and co are definitely complicit in this; as is the brains-trust behind the EU. Whether they are ALL conspiring at the highest levels (the us, the eu, asia and chine) is still in question. But the existence of the so-called 'Tri-Lateral Commission' would seem to suggest so.
Money, media, and education are their primary weapons.
when we become independent, sovereign souls, they are instantly foiled.

I'm glad you wrote this blog and I agree with you that there are forces at play that are antithetical to their plan.
I believe the these forces are breaking it all down right now - even as we speak. There are signs of it everywhere - from the media, education, and politics they use to keep us down all the way down to the individual self. I feel these changes in my own being.
I believe these forces that you mention are designed to bring us back to spirituality and nothing - not even the superpowers of the world can stop it.
The changes are gonna be very rough at times. I've noticed a general breakdown of things across the boards. I notice them in my own spirit and I see them played out at large on the television - when I can stomach to watch it ;)
I believe that we will become those independent, sovereign souls that you write about. We will have a chance to see these things come to fruition in our lifetimes. I know one thing - watching the negative forces that keep ordinary people down, crumble to the ground is going to be a very satisfying spectacle.

I have no doubts that there have been many groups trying for centuries to gain world governance… some of them nations and others private interest groups, some of them religious and others economic… most of them operating to varying degrees of covertness. But I don't feel certain that there is a single group that has yet gained power over all the others and to which they serve. There are probably many loose affiliations and I'd guess that it won't be long(maybe in our lifetimes) when a one world government will take power over all nations whether overtly or covertly. But that will just bring the various opposing forces to the next level too.
I don't see any of this as anything new. The size and scope of human governments has been growing ever since civilization began. It seems a natural evolutionary tendency… or, if you're a cynic, a growing malignant cancer. :) And as long as there has been governments, there of course have been those who try to control it. In some ways, technology has developed to make the implementation of mass control more precise, but the complexity of modern society makes it difficult for any group to gain or hold onto power. If the Illuminati exists, they may or may not be winning the battle but I doubt they're winning the war. There are just too many counterforces.
Even though, as I said, technology is increasing the ability of mass control, there are two factors that weaken this. First, the technology for mass control is leaking out into the general public. Second, technology may be evolving society back towards smaller governments because technology is beginning to allow us to do more things for ourselves.
I was listening to public radio and I heard something that made me laugh. China, the great evil oppressor of the East, is agriculturally self-sufficient and it doesn't plan on changing. Western officials have been criticizing China for this and telling them that they won't be able to keep it up. Instead of trying to force China to be dependent on global capitalistic powers, maybe it would be better if we followed China's example on this matter and work at our own self-sufficiency. If the largest population on earth can do it, then many other nations should be able to figure it out.
I think we run the world. we just haven't taken the riens yet.
What do you mean by the welfare state?
I'm not sure what he meant by the welfare state, but I heard an interesting interview on Coast to Coast AM the other night. The interviewee was the investigative journalist David Cay Johnston. He was speaking about corporate welfare.
Yeah, corporate welfare is an interesting and scary topic. Corporate welfare and indvidual wefare (and social security, disability, etc.) are very different things, though, so I wondered which was being referenced here.

yes, by welfare state, I was referring to the 'benefits' that you listed (unemployment payments, disability pensions, etc).
one could also throw in Medicaid (we have 'Medicare' in Australia), low-cost housing, various tax rebates, etc. All the things that government does to 'redistribute money'.
In essence, I have no beef with helping to share the pie more equally; unfortunately, the sad case is, the more you earn, the less tax you end up paying. There are vast tax-avoidance industries at play for the corporate end of town (and this blends into your 'corporate welfare' subject).
I hope this doesn't offend you, or came across as too heartless, but the leftist policy of 'welfare for the common man' ends up disempowering people, and keeping them down for the rest of their lives. The case of single mothers is well documented; and they themselves are not at all happy with the situations they end up in.
Self Responsibility is key; and part of being a noble human being is being able to give Honest Charity to another. The 'welfare state' has taken that option out of our hands.

have you heard of the Usura - Lord of Nations? what you wrote reminds me of this ancient legend. i do feel the age of chaos, Kali Yug, is inevitable and the hands of Usura is taking control at the moment. We, too, unintentionally or not, may have been “one of the hands of Usura”.
Being a conscious and mindful consumer and citizen may be one way of minimising our participation in exploitation of our own humanity. what we eat, drink, watch, listen to, read, anything we consume.., what and who do we work for….all this should be a reflection of who we are…
And we are the Truth and Love. Are we moving away from It or closer to It?
