conspiracy theories abound
why tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories?
if the schools and news and tv say one thing
why not just believe them?
would they lie? why wouldn't they tell the truth?
why question the integrity of the government?
after all, they've done well by you,
haven't they, over time?
if you see no reason to doubt, then don't
we all have our own choices to make.
but if something seems fishy, funny
then ask questions, please!
bad health care
the economy, businesses, how they operate?
what about wars? the destruction of nature?
do you agree with the ethics and morals of all these?
what about the medical industry, big money
health care that just doesn't work
how many pills? how many vaccines?
before you realise it just doesn't work
all the wanderer asks is just one thing
stay open-minded
when something doesn't add up, seems inconsistent
ask questions, ask questions
the truth is out there
see what other people have to say
hear their stories, their personal experiences
what they have lived through, had to suffer
conspiracies aren't conspiracies
if they speak the truth
word games used to blind you
word games used to blind you

Antidepressants really DO cause suicidal thoughts sometimes.
It's true.
I justs posted something similar on my blog posting on Lewis Black…America is not #1.
Question authority!
Question the media!
Think for yourself!
Wahoo…..!
We are not sheep!
Lets not act as such!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
Aley
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Wonderful! Thank you, Wanderer.
When I read this, my mind flashed to a 1970's Sci Fi novel that I've always loved, just for the title alone. ”The Sheep Look Up.” In one review of this book, John Brunner is described as “the Rachel Carson of science fiction.” That's a damned fine epitaph! (We are the sheep, of course, following the loudest baaa to our own demise.) The herd mentality is a dangerous thing. Thanks for putting critical thinking and intelligent inquiry into poetic form.
And by the way, that's the first time I ever saw the word “Google” in a poem!! (smile) I likes it.

I loved the pictures your posted in your domain. I always believe a picture speaks louder than words. My opinion that is…
i have really enjoyed what C4Chaos has been blogging about health care, very intelligent and focussed…
the synchronicity is amazing, word games used to blind us is just what Sun Warrior and I were talking about yesterday when we met up in Toronto
love and light to you
Sitting upon the social constructions of reality the eye is all seeing….
Are we perpetuating disease and suffering because we believe in them?
Maybe….
Do I want to believe?
No…
Society dictated that I do…
If the smoke lifts
The injustice will be revealed
And a wounded heart
Let the revolution come
From within
The constructs in American society sometimes make it hard to question authority and people in power. Teachers are granted tenure in elementary schools and become bullet proof. They lose passion, lose respect for the students, and I think many prefer “less drama” that comes with no questioning of their authority and as such encourage students to not question. I think some even just like the feeling of being the one in control and correct.
I was not an unintelligent child and it took me until 8th grade to start noticing mistakes teachers made and calling them out rather than just accepting that maybe I was wrong.
Hey w7, it's absolutely perfect that you use the word 'choice' in your title. That's it, isn't it? We make choices, either informed or uninformed, but ultimately just that - choices. Thank you for your sensibilities - question what we hear indeed! Wonderful.
